Fundamental Limits of Biometric Identification System Under Noisy Enrollment

چکیده
The fundamental limits of biometric identification systems under a strong secrecy criterion are investigated. In the previous studies this scenario, trade-off among secrecy, template, privacy- and secrecy-leakages has been revealed in case where there is only one user, while multiple users not discussed yet. study, we consider system with exponentially many users, characterize capacity region rate tuples including user (identification) criterion. achievability proof, derive new method to incorporate by extending random binning for user's case. obtained result shows that characterization does vary regardless weak or terms secrecy-leakage.

Bimodal Biometric Person Identification System Under Perturbations
Multibiometric person identification systems play a crucial role in environments where security must be ensured. However, building such systems must jointly encompass a good compromise between computational costs and overall performance. These systems must also be robust against inherent or potential noise on the data-acquisition machinery. In this respect, we proposed a bimodal identification ...
متن کاملFundamental limits on persistent activity in networks of noisy neurons.
Neural noise limits the fidelity of representations in the brain. This limitation has been extensively analyzed for sensory coding. However, in short-term memory and integrator networks, where noise accumulates and can play an even more prominent role, much less is known about how neural noise interacts with neural and network parameters to determine the accuracy of the computation. Here we ana...
متن کاملSystem Identification Based on Frequency Response Noisy Data
In this paper, a new algorithm for system identification based on frequency response is presented. In this method, given a set of magnitudes and phases of the system transfer function in a set of discrete frequencies, a system of linear equations is derived which has a unique and exact solution for the coefficients of the transfer function provided that the data is noise-free and the degrees of...

متن کاملIdentification of Cement Rotary Kiln in Noisy Condition using Takagi-Sugeno Neuro-fuzzy System
Cement rotary kiln is the main part of cement production process that have always attracted many researchers’ attention. But this complex nonlinear system has not been modeled efficiently which can make an appropriate performance specially in noisy condition. In this paper Takagi-Sugeno neuro-fuzzy system (TSNFS) is used for identification of cement rotary kiln, and gradient descent (GD) algori...
